Our Team
IPS President Greg Hatfield
Greg started his industrial manufacturing career in 1983 and eventually worked his way up to serving as Operations Manager over several manufacturing facilities in Central Indiana. To this day, Ideal Manufacturing & Supply, Inc. provides custom industrial electrical services, controls, and millwright work for mid-to-large industrial and commercial facilities across central and northwest Indiana.
In 2011, based on the growing interest in residential backup power solutions, his youngest son Justin joined him to create Ideal Power Solutions – a Generac sales and service business. After installing hundreds of generators, Greg enjoys working in the field and building relationships with his customers.
A native of Lafayette, Indiana, Greg and his wife of 33 years have three adult children, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, and five grandchildren, all living nearby. Family, faith, and service are his top priorities.
